Hi, my name’s Megan, first-born daughter of the Wilke clan. I’m currently a student at Truman State University with a major in English and a minor in Spanish. I’m Executive Editor of our school travel magazine, Detours, and an intern at the Truman State University Press. My mother was a teacher, then a librarian, and I believe my love of books and all things literary stemmed from her and the days I spent as a child inside various elementary school libraries.
When I graduate, I hope to get a job in publishing and editing of novels. I split my time between homework, Ultimate Frisbee, religious observation of several television shows, writing, cooking, and spending time with friends and family. I’m also really weird. I wear ties on my head and draw faces on fruit and stuff. Weirdo. Completely crackers. But you’ll come to know that soon enough if you keep reading.
(Did you see what I did there? Incentive.)
